Hi Peter and all,

At the moment I do read, at least check, the bulletins in the BBS
connected via Telnet from SYS4. It would be handy to be able to do that
using NNTP on the laptop (News groups in the mailer, or use Gravity).
But then, if some bulletin needs to be removed, it's back to Telnet
anyway.

As for the radio ports. I have only been running 1k2 since we moved to
this house, but it will be back to 1k2/4k8 on 2m and 1k2/4k8 and
probably 9k6 on 70cm (maybe a different frequency for 9k6).
I am thinking of adding a 10m port (1k2) and/or 1k2 on 6m, but I would
need to aquire the tranceivers for that.

I don't expect to ever be using the 1200k DMASCC card and tranceiver
on 13cm again, which is quite a shame.

The Internet access to the systems basically gives me the option to
connect to the BBS wherever I have access to the Internet, in the same
was as I connect to the system at home.

Yes, I have seen Gervais' message about VE2RXY closing because he is
losing access to the location. It's a shame he did not find a way to
keep the system running with him still having access.

Rgs, 73, Angela
