Yes Peter,

I know the feeling.
I used to have several radio links here, but now we only locally have
a few people on Packet RADIO, but all the radio links have gone.
So, forwarding now only works via InterneP.

But, I use several of my systems also for the Internet, and not only
Packet Radio.
Basically only one machine is only Packet Radio; the system that has
the radio ports.

I want to do a big overhoal on the system, where I will move a few
functions/services and add a 2nd BBS that will be used to run the
InterneP forwards while my currect BBS would then be for the radio
access.
I have planned to use 3 systems for that, and for now not to fully
move to Linux, but stay with JNOS on DRDOS or maybe FreeDOS.

It most likely is going to be:
- Radio BBS, POP server
- HTTP server, MX server (incoming e-mail)
- InterneP BBS, NNTP server
And I guess converse on both BBS'.
The Radio BBS will have compresed FBB forward and LZW compression for
other purposes, while the InterneP BBS would be without.
Next to that the node with the radio ports, which is basically the
only real Packet Radio system.

>From the Internet the three machines can be reached from the Internet
on port forwarding for the specific services.
At the moment I'm not running NNTP here, as when I did experiment with
that, the machines I did have were not powerful enough, and now I do not
have a JNOS compilation that has NNTP in it.

The current machines are old enough to think it's time to replace them.
And, if I build all of these machines, only main boards, power supply
and components, so not a full cabinet, into a nice double wall cabinet
(Rittal), it does clear out some machines out of the hous with the
cabinet planned to be put up in the garage.

But, first some other projects to do.
