Hello and Greetings to all on the YL @WW Packet Network,
as well those on our Yahoo Group ... hello and a NEW
member there ..oops I have forgotten the details...up
early today.
The Garden was taken care of this month with a great fire
and brush and all was burned and some tilling was do, so
it looks great for the spring. See ... I did take care of
the Jungle.
No I didn't get my tomatoes in ... they died in a surprise
frost, so ..left'em ...maybe next year < famous last words>.
Flowers I took in to keep, and I liked them, well they died
inside .. and well not a green thumb..the closest thoughts
I had were they are not meant to keep over the winter.
< curses ...foiled again> < OR insert something... >.
So this November was again Rememrance Day ,,, and instead
of gathering on November 11th, at 1100hrs etc etc ... now
they do it on a sunday <weekend> before the date...as well
added to it a silly thing from years passed called the
White Poppy has a debate going in some parts of Canada
which is...well...I did try to explain it to a news media
but they never used it, and ... oh well it is a Canadian
thing to do over dumb things.
Sorry ...I was there November 11th.,2010 ... and guess what
there were fewer people. Traffic kept going ...no 2 minutes
to stop ... All the crowds that were there on November 11th
when Canada went into the Afghanistan Mess ... why I guess
it isn't so popular now.
I was also chopping wood, and pulled or over did it to pull
on what might be left of severed stomach muscles, but
that ended up bring back pains I had so long ago in the
Kidney cancer surgery. I was doubled over... and here
is a laugh... I went to the hospital to get some pain killers
and they foundout as well, due to tests I had an infection
< undisclosed > < bladder> ...so I came away with still the
pain...no pain killers and new meds for this infection.
BUMMER !
Also due to having to stay indoors and take it easy ... I
manged to snage a new computer desk ...so VE3WBZ and all
went off...to get the new stuff in ...looks better, but
during the course of chucking and routing cable and wires
and plugs ...I picked up something that had me sneezing
all day... so much so...a real Noggon thumper ... pain
I was up all night ... Maria found me in the morning
somewhere, did something that took the sneezing away
the noggon thumper too ...and I slept for a few hours.
This brings us to the end of November 2010 ... A quiet
month really. At least thru all of this ... I still
have a smile on the old puss ... and as in OM @WW
well I have the stationary bike, and I hope to get back
there as skating and other things are now definitely out.
In all this too ... There is always someone worse off then
you, and during this month, while forced to slow down, I
have come to realize that in some small way ... some of us
and yeah even moi...have given them some small comfort and
support and the feeling...we're all really in this together.
I hope your November 2010 was great. We now enter December 2010
and this is a special month for so many great reasons...
