Hello everyone, and followers of the YL @WW threads.
While as I type this direct, Halloween is winding down here
at the Point, and with it the month, as tomorrow is the start
of November 2010 and I hope better promise.
It has been a great October 2010, as some have seen with the
trip posting for this month. The "Yellow Submarine" was
bus on the air, HF on 80 and 40 and some nice people. As
well Canadian Thanksgiving was spent in the colourful north
woods. No other place is like this, and I will miss it.
i am even thinkling of another trip up there...but then it
snowed today ....a sprinkle...but a warning, winter is on
the way.
Cleaned up the yard... even cleaned up the Garden, and have
another burn planned, and get it ready for the spring.
The composter is filled ...and the only regret is I lost
2 old lawnmowers to age...up and died on me...not worth
replacing anything... parts and labour...better to buy
a new one, which we did. SOooo the lawn and leafs
are all cleaned up.
Thats been the month of October 2010...nothing startling
sort of quiet...we got to do a few trips, and one great
trip and it rolled thru fast.
HF antenna is ready to go up ... going to rewire the
house and get the TV antennas going and the dishes
online again ... SO that looks like a job for
NOVEMBER.
Hope everyone is "ok" and hope to hear from everone
via whatever way you can make it...packet or email
for reposting <if you want>.
