Hi Sara,

Braeburn are an apple favourite of mine too. Australian oranges are on
sale here at present. The are sometimes juicier and have less pips than NZ
oranges.

Plenty of time to enjoy the Spring Weather, the trees have yet to blossum.

Roger the cat is sitting on top of the CRT screen.

Today is the inorganic rubbish collection. I put a few broken things out
on the roadside for collection. Some metal scavengers took them away befor
the collection truck could come by.

An employment agent is meeting with me on Friday week (not this Friday).

I went with Wayne ZL1UJK to the Hamilton NZART inc. Sale. I got two
books:- an ARRL mobile manual (an old edition with lots of tube circuits)
and a more recent FM & Repeaters (just as PLLs were coming in). Only a
NZ$1 each.
I bought some hook up wire & some "chocolate block" electrical connectors.
I need them for my EM84 tube project.

We had a talk together in Wayne's kitchen after driving back. He had beer
& I drank cheap cola (89 cents for 1.5 litres). His house is bursting full
of equipment & there is hardly room to sit down.
Tonight is a Vintage radio club sale night & I think Wayne is bringing
things to sell. Should help his "overfull" problem in his hallway.
I hope to get a ride with Ralph ZL4AG who administers the Amateur exams
locally.
