Hello everyone reading the YL @WW , and participating, which is
the order of business in a social way.
What can I say for JUNE 2010 ? "RAIN" comes to mind. Floods
and Tornados ripped thru here, some reported, others poo poohed
by the so called experts, cuz it wasn't on radar. "huh"... like
there was even waterspouts on Lake Simcoe north of me, and one
twister <tornado> wetn by in the lake, with no warning. I should
of checked with my cousin in Indiana, as they got twisters and
floods, and we were supposed to go down there.
I wonder if anyone on net remembers my nephew Geoffrey? Maybe not
it was long ago, he was exploring around the world, in some
dangerous places, etc...as well becoming a great sailor, even
having me cut the line to the stern of the dragonfly so he could
sail without his nattering old uncle pete <hahahahaha>....well
he got married this month. Wayout in some small town in
Saskatchewan < ep..I spelled it right miracle>. Distance
and medical problems and recovery etc..prevented me or us from
going, but he now has a nice looking place in Edmonton,Alberta.
We also had some grief too, dealing and still dealing with the
death of my cousin in England, but all his mates from his
ship showed up, and we felt exactly what his wife is feeling
as we keep very close communications with them.
Yep...what a month... all smiles and laughter to demisal doom.
Rain, floods tornados and balmy to cold temperatures in single
digits....but nothing like the Earthquake that hit. I am used
to either a rocking deck, so might have been normal to me
OR...it was the meds, but on the scale it was a 5 and rocked
the home here...I think we have a crack and the back place
slipped....one of those addon things.
So ... while done late, I see and have read Michael's posting
and hope everyone is OK elsewhere in the world...all eyes
glued to the FIFA World Cup of Football.
Lets see what July 2010 will be like.... ttfn
