I must admit that the charging system seems a bit weird, assuming Nokia
have done the right thing with their charging system.

My Nokia 9300 expects the battery to be flat when the charge voltage is
applied, otherwise of an attempt to charge at an earlier stage, means that
the battery status says full when it won't last 5 minutes !

However my older Nokia Communicator 9210i has only one mode for it's LiIon
pack, and that seems to be purely trickle charge,taking 6 hours.
