Subject: Green wire mod, empty cell case

I asked about this a few weeks ago and I finally got around to doing it.

No problems, just a trivial change in rig's behaviour.

With the supplied battery pack, it is possible to disconnect the 12v dc
input and the rig then reverts to the internal battery to continue running.

With the alkaline cell case modded without the green wire, this doesn't
happen, and you have to physically disconnect the 12v dc jack from the rear
connector to allow the rig to work on the internal battery pack.

Sent for info only.

By the way mine's a recent FT817ND.
