Hi Ian and Trekkies,
Now if I remember correctly, a parsec is 2 degrees of arc in astronomical
terms but it's been a while. Science Fiction movies however have twisted
it all around so in that sense it has become meaningless.
T'Pol used the term G/cM2 because it's the standard metric measurement,
supposedly the metric system is in use aboard Earth spacecraft in the
time of the show Enterprise.
Oh boy, you sure don't know Issac Asimov! Each of his short stories has a
promenent female character and the Foundation Series, formerly the
Foundation Trilogy features many interwoven with the Lazarus Long series.
Both have the Gay Deceiver in common which makes it's first appearance in
The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress. Not only is the craft referred to as being
"female" but one of the crew is a woman. "Gay, BOUNCE!" Now, do you know
what that command does? Who or what is The Mule? Hint: the only asexual
character in the Foundation Series.
Hey guy, when you write about my favorite author you could at least get
it right. (;->)
