Alternatively, without connectivity tcp/ip is worthless...

I think you're spending too much effort on imagery and not enough
on substance.

No, not alternatively; - EXACTLY. -- Try reading the above paragraph
AGAIN... Get it this time?

My point was that Amateur Packet Radio has provided it's own, independent
Radio-based global connectivity. It serves as amateur TCP/IP's "host", so
it would behoove amateur TCP/IP devotees to stop trying to destroy the
packet net.  A more clever attitude would be one of cooperation and mutual
support, not "Them or Us". Amateur TCP/IP will lose heavily in a "Them or
Us" against Amateur Radio.
In other words, you folks need to learn to be less obtrusive parasites.
Remember that the bug who bites too hard gets slapped.

I think a better command of English would help you to avoid such confusion.

The substance was there, but I don't write for the "lowest common
denominator", so it may not have been readily apparent to you. When in
doubt, re-read as needed.
