First, download and install version 2.21 from www.tapr.org Then, if the
problem recurs, try contacting Brent directly or posting to the APRS+SA
mail list. You may also want to reinstall SA7 as this sounds like a
problem with SA7 instead of APRS+SA.
Good luck.

As for the technical feasability of extracting that data, I think it would
depend on what time period you need. The only way I can think of to get a
history of your speed, aside from the max and average, would be to measure
the time interval between two points in the track log - assuming it's either
got a timestamp or a fixed time interval. If you were on a stretch of
highway at the time of the accident it might mean something, but if you were
navigating on city streets I have my doubts.

Subject: NSTAR balloon flight Monday

Nebraska Stratospheric Amateur Radio (NSTAR) will fly APRS payloads on a
weather balloon tomorrow morning (Monday, Sept 1) at 1230 UTC (0730 CDT)
from our usual site near Treynor, IA (20 mi E of Omaha). If there is light
rain in the area tomorrow morning, we may delay a little to avoid it.
Main payload: N9XTN-11 on 144.34 MHz
http://map.findu.com/n9xtn-11
Secondary payload: N9XTN-12 on 144.39 MHz
http://map.findu.com/n9xtn-12
Simplex repeater on 446.30 MHz
Camcorder (2 hrs of tape)
Elph still camera (40 exposures)
Simplex repeater on 446.30 MHz
EEPROM memory added to store location data every 2 seconds for
flight's duration
Max altitude with our 1000g Kaysam should be 90,000 ft. We'll be using
some extra helium so our ascent rate may be as high as 1200 ft/min (need to
finish a 20%-full tank off). This would give us a mission time of about 2
hours total.
See the main website at http://www.nstar.org for more details.
Further updates will be posted to
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/KNSP/messages .

I have a new IGATE I am installing that I do not want bi-directional
traffic on. The primary IGATE will send out messages and third party
traffic. This is simply a receive IGATE I want connected to the CORE
server network. Can someone tell me what port to connect this to? I do
not want ANY traffic coming into it because the bandwidth is low and
must be conserved for outgoing traffic to the core server only. I think
one of the filtered ports may work nicely??
Thanks for the help,
Mike
