Great! I thought so, but I wanted to be sure that the r/XXX/XXX/800
wouldn't supercede the s/MMsymbol. I wasn't real sure I was understanding
the construct of the string real well.

Good point. Each filter creates a new condition that a packet can be
passed. So, if you have 2 filters, a packet has 2 chances to get passed
to the client.

Was just looking at the internet feed on WinAPRS and see a KA1CQD station
right near my home but his data is being digi'd and igated thru a igate in
the northeast and not near Morgantown,WV.

Just thought it was funny how it was showing him so far off...

Email, telephone or even snail mail, I have to think the tone of an "out of
the blue" contact has to be more important than the method of contact. I
include my email in my beacon text to make it simpler for anyone to advise
me of a problem being caused my station. I prefer email because if the
correspondence degrades to harrasment to myself or otherwise becomes
non-productive I can avoid it by setting OE to, delete email from certain
persons email from the server after, informing them that I will no longer be
discussing the topic. If don't see it I don't have to rely on my will power
not to respond to crap with crap.--73

Actually "NORTH" isnt a format problem. Its a routing path name.

I put this on my wx stn to tell the stealth digi where to route the packet.

Smart digis can look for any indication within the packet path address to
tell where the packet should go. Since its the last digi listed in a path,
all the rest of the KPC3/UI-DIGIS/etc leave it alone.

Its not a problem path at all. Its just you didnt know why its there.
I have one called SOUTH too, but your list didnt show it... ;-)

Thats European. They have a totally different understanding of APRS over
there. They dont do public service (its not in their rules). I think
they only use it for fun and DX.

You wont accomplish anything by trying to change that. I've tried and its
just a totally different mind set over there. Not necessarily wrong.
Just different. Best to just worry about 144.39 in the USA.

Nothing wrong with the name. But apparently at the time this was captured
back in Nov, the position data failed to parse correctly. Could have been
a one time fluke...

Works for me! I just found it absurdly large.
