Running a satgate is like running 2 BBS's. (FBB and Wisp plus all the
satgate software.) You have to check and monitor both systems regularly
(each day for me because I'm the type of person that wants to keep things
moving, catch problems before they grow too large) and I was satgate
co-ordinator which meant monitoring 30+ satgates around the world to keep
then in order. After a while it took its toll.

As long as it takes. Thats what I meant by it will get through.

Ah now that you have lost the "messages fail to get through" debate you
have turned it into how long it takes to get through. Yes I know there are
delays in some mail and have been for a while. I know the reason as well,
but I'm not going to embaras the relevant person into entering this
debate.

You dont just jump into satellite operations. Just as you dont jump into
microwave operations. It takes time to review all the info, learn about
the techniques for all the different types of satellites and GRADUALLY
aquire the knowledge and skills necessary. There is no "point and click"
way of learning it all. As for tracking programs etc, there are many
programs out there and its each to their own. I get all the kepler updates
I need off packet. Others go to web sites.

Apathy? In what way?
