Digipan macros are saved in the digipan.ini file within your main windows
directory (usually c:\windows). You can modify or add to them there rather
that going thru the digipan front panel procedure. You can also back up that
file, if your worried about losing the macros.

From G3PLX.
One of the most interesting applications of acoustic coupling of
PSK31 I have encountered was at a club lecture in which two laptops
worked across the lecture room by acoustic coupling. It needed the
speakers and microphones to be aimed directly at each other in order
to avoid multipath propagation effects off the ceiling, but that was
a really nice way to demonstrate PSK31 to an audience to give them a
feel for the narrow bandwidth and the tuning sensitivity etc. I
wonder if you could do it with four or more laptops in the same room
and work several different QSO's at the same time. Maybe that could
be done at a PSK31 demo at a hamfest!

Subject: [psk31] Filters and PSK31
I've been having a blast using PSK31 - no problems, no complaints. Recently
I have been looking into the possibility of a new/used radio to upgrade from
my ICOM 725. I'm noticing that there are lots of options when it comes to
the subject of filters. Question is: are there any recommendations as to
what filters are of benefit when working PSK31 and I guess more importantly,
are there recommendations on what to stay away from as it will conflict with
PSK31 mode.
Appreciate the feedback,
dean (K5DMP)

Yes, I found the same problem. I use a parallel port pin to key the transmitter
from WriteLog and a modem control signal from DigiPan. I find that I have to
boot the computer and actually run WriteLog to initialize everything (I have
the two PTTs in parallel - either one activates the Tx, so both have to be
initialized to off).
The interesting thing is that if I turn my Yaesu FT-920 on with PTT already
asserted through a back panel connector, the Tx *won't* come on. It
confused me the first couple of times. So, I agree with Carl's suggestion.
