Subject: [psk31] Laptop problem
Hi Folks, I am new to PSK31 and the list so please bear with me. I
am using a Micron 166MHz laptop and Digipan software. The
receive works fine until I hook up the output of the soundcard
(headphone jack) to the audio in on my OmniVI+. As soon as I
plug into the audio in jack the waterfall display goes blank and no
more receive. The soundcard only has 2 jacks on this computer,
microphone in and headphone out. Any help or ideas??

Do you have VOX on, causing the rig to key when you supply the audio?

How about making it real simple. Take the audio of the headphone or speaker
jack of your rig. Then you can adjust your audio until your computer and
program are happy.

Subject: [psk31] Vox does not work
Hi all,
I'm sending this one again from a few weeks back.
I have a TS-570 and am using Digipan.
I have to press the send key on the radio to get the psk data to go out.
With vox activated I get sound but no rf.
Very puzzled. I believe audio outputs from the sound card are high enough.
Please help, someone, anyone.

I have an Omni-VI too, and it works fine. Note that the AF input
on the rear is in parallel with the mike jack, so you have to
unplug the mike if you use it. I found that PTT works fine, but
the VOX doesn't work very well.
