I must be missing something here - this has what to do with how much
power you run? As I've said before, I'm not advocating that everyone
should run more power, just saying that there are times when it can
help and we shouldn't jump down the throats of someone who wants to
run an amp when it helps. Otherwise, lets partition the FCC to change
the rules and put a max power of 5 watts on all amateur operations.
One of the biggest problems with digital in general is filters (or the
lack thereof). More than once I've been running 100 watts on pactor
with 500 Hz filters, found a nice quiet spot and called CQ only to be
jumped on for not listening first. Come to find out, the QSO I QRMed
was taking place some 2 kHz away. If you're going to use SSB filters
to operate a narrow digital mode, you have to learn to live with QRM.
We loose the benefit of the narrow digital modes if we have to space
signal 3-4 kHz apart to account for receiver deficiencies.

Mel's comment about a schematic is not correct. You can download a
schematic in Acrobat PDF format from the website. It is very clear
and comprehensive. Perhaps Mel overlooked the link.
I am keen on all that the Rigblaster seems to do but it is highly
priced for what it does and to charge almost US$28 to post the unit
which the specs say weighs 8 oz. is ridiculous. It would not cost a
quarter of that to post a similar item from here in Australia to the
USA. As the cost to ship within the USA is as little as US$6, that
suggest that the incremental US Postal service charge is about US$25.

That's not quite accuarate. International order's are shipped US Postal
Service parcel post air insured at $23.50 per unit.
Domestic order (continental US) are shipped United Parcel Service Ground at
$6.00 per unit. 2nd day air is available.
We could ship export orders via US Postal Service at ground parcel post
rates.......if you don't mind waiting months, yes MONTHS for your Blaster to
show up.

Which PSK31 software has the best DECODER - has anybody some practical
comparisons? With weak signals, interferences, etc.
I am using Digipan, and no other yet.
