Subject: [psk31] Help needed in hookup psk31 to Icom 756
Hi.
I am new to PSK31. I would like to know how I can setup my Icom 756 with
the accessory connector to the sound card of my laptop. I know the 756 have
Vox so I would not need the PTT switch.
So far I have been able to RX PSK31 but the PTT is not keying up. I am
not familiar with the accessory connector pin outs on the 756.
Any help would be appreciated. Hope to work you folks with PSK31 soon.

Ken, I don't think the ACC plug in the back of your unit
routes the audio thruogh the VOX ckt!! Checkout the
schematic and see where the audio from the Acc hooks into
the audio processor.. If need be, and it is better to keep
unwanted audio from your microphone from being broadcast
through the mike, get another mike connector and wire your
audio through it in the front of the rig...
