I agree with you Dan, over here in the UK the bottom end of 10mtrs is almost
unusable in the mornings because of the FM/SSB Pirates. I hear them up as
high as 28.350Mhz. and it seems to be getting worse.
They all seem to be Eastern European with some latin countries.

Probably some of "Them Thar bar' hunters a puttn' some "Earl" in the engine
of the truck and picking up some beer " so they can head up the mountain to
drink the beer while them thar pack of dogs chase down and tree single
defensless bar' so the drunks can then sit around and shoot at it until one
of them gets lucky enough to hit it. Theres just tons of "sport" in Bar'
hunting isnt there ? :-)
Around here alot of time "them thar bar' hunters" bootleg on the valley
2-meter repeaters around . Most dont sound like they have enough smarts to
actually use a radio. I wonder how they do it ? :-)
Sorry but Bottlegging and hunting with dogs are two of my pet pieves(sp?)
:-)
>28.425 (or thereabouts), heard a SSB station signing over to another one.
>The "calls" had a lot more NUMBERS in them than I think there outta be. Yep
>North American "accent" too. Somebody get the shotgun!
