Subject: [psk31] Logger Version 6.09 and Windows NT problems?
Gang,
Anyone running Logger and Windows NT? I am new to the program and like it,
but am having difficulty with the PSK window. (I am running Windows NT
Workstation 4.0 with Service Pack 5).
When I send CQ via the "CQ macro button", once the CQ completes, I am unable
to transmit via the "transmit button". If I close the PSK window and then
reopen it, I'm able to transmit normally.
If I transmit via the "transmit button", and then send CQ via the "CQ macro
button",
the process repeats itself - must close the PSK window and reopen.
Also, if I change any of the text in the macro keys, I must close the PSK
window and reopen before I can send a CQ or transmit.
Any and all suggestions appreciated.

Hi Kurosaki San,
If the path to PSK31SBW you have introduced in PSKGNR has the same spelling
as that of your note, then it will never work. Please check it as the '/'
character after C: is invalid. The correct path should be
C:\PSK31\PSK31SBW.EXE.

I had the same problem, but in Win98. Try deleting the $cwid$ at the end.

Hi everyone,
I became interested in building dgps receivers after learning how much the
comm'l units cost::>
Anyway, I downloaded the spec for the data transmtters and protocol and
it's not clear whether they are transmitting psk or fsk. The spec sounds
like it is talking about PSK, but several home brewers have told me it's
really FSK. I can forward the written spec to anyone who is interested, but
I am willing to bet that it is not helpful!
The data is 50, 100 or 200 baud and the overall bandwidth is claimed to be
1.17 times the baud rate, The channels are spaced at 1 khz intervals
between 285 to 325 khz. Anyone in the US should hear signals there, and
most likely anyone in a coastal area anywhere in the world should hear
signals there too.
If someone could tune in and tell me whether these are PSK or FSK, I'd
appreciate it.
After I figure out what type of signal it is, I need suggestions for small,
low power portable electronics for receiving these signals-but for now I
really need to know whether these are FSK or PSK.
Off list reply preferred.
