Subject: [psk31] PSKGNR + ADIF logging
I'm thinking about adding ADIF log export to PSKGNR. Here is my question to
you:
What is the most useful form for this to take? Should I put ADIF records on
the clipboard? Save them to a file? How would it work best with your logging
program, why, and which program is it?
I know the updates have been less frequent but my work goes in cycles and
I'm cycling pretty hard at the moment, but there is still more to come for
PSKGNR when I get some more time!

Subject: [psk31] Unofficial PSK31 DXCC Table
Hi everyone!
As was suggested to me a while back, as of now, I am accepting entries for
the Unofficial PSK31 DXCC Table - an honour roll for PSK31 ops.
To be included please send me your callsign, the number of DXCC Entities
worked on each band, and also the overall number of different DXCC Entities
worked.
SWL scores are fine and if some of you wish to submit a heard list, as well
as a worked list, please feel free, but make sure you indicate it.
Several people have offered to host the table and I'll let you know some URLs
as soon as they're confirmed.
AS for the PSK31 directory, well it just keeps growing and growing! Every
time I think I'm about done someone else sends me a log with lots more new
calls in it :o) I'm still working on it, but it looks like being very much
an on-going thing. Let's just say, there are LOTS of people on PSK31!!!
Vy 73 to all, and please, if you can, let me have your scores by the 7th of
July.

Subject: [psk31] Sending to the list
After having received many comments complaining about html and
"rich-text" messages, and about files being sent to the list, I have setup the
list to discard messages in html and rich-text format or with files attached.
If you can see you message in the list, please check if it uses these features.
Some comments,
- There are some messages that get bounced because people use another
mail address different to the one they used when subscribing.
That's tipical when using redirect services.
- There are -many- messages being bounced because the mailbox is full.
Please check that you don't have the option leave mail on server

Hi Al,
I think it should write it to a file, because that is what will be needed to
import it to another app. I use TRX Manager (which has rig control/band
scope etc) and Log-EQF (which has excellent awards tracking and rig control
as well). I export my logs from TRX to Log-EQF all the time and it is very
useful. I would be wary of a clip board only mode, for fear of forgetting to
copy from the clip board before turning off the computer. While I have UPS's
here, I'm not sure all do, and that would be a disaster as well.
BTW, my logging programs aren't even on the same computer as psk31, so the
file business is pretty important!
I think a mini-log would be a great idea! Don't forget to default the mode
to psk! Saves typing. Of course, since you already have callbook support,
that could be filled in automagically too. Perhaps default the freq to
14.0xx with the cursor sitting on the first x of xx? 99% of current activity
is on 20m and this could be changed later. If ADIF permits it, a comment
field would be nice.
Logging from psk (for psk type contacts) is a great idea. It doesn't have to
be a full-featured logger, just the basics and then we can import the info
into our "power-loggers" for massaging. Thanks for considering it.

I don't know what ADIF means, but my own logging program creation runs
in DOS. Export/import via a file could be easily implemented. It would
seem yo me that unless one's logging program is windows based, the file
transfer method would be more universal.
Thanks for asking.
