I've enjoyed the SIAM mode in my old PK-232MBX quite a lot, over the years.
It's just pure fun for anyone interested in digital SWL.

detrimental to the hobby.......you decided to bite this guys head off for
asking a question that should have been posted in another NG.
No need for a clue the best thing that can happen to the hobby is if you
would bury your radios and run for congress.
you feel at home with all the other asses

Hi,
I have been let down by someone who promised me a
copy of "easyterm" (et).
I don't know very much about this program except that
it is a DOS based program, and it supports compressed
forwarding.
Could someone advise if the above above is available for
downloading, and a URL if possible.
Andy.

Anybody have strong preferences/likes/dislikes for term software to run a
PK-232? I've put in the pactor/dsp upgrade, and my old term (Packet Gold)
doesn't do the new mode... Looking for something more natively windoze
(ducks flaming arrows).
Thanks

Hello Gary, If your PK-232 is not an MBX finding software may be difficult. If
it is an MBX, and you are running WIN95/98 downlaod the demo PK TERM 99 from
<http://www.timewave.com> and give it a try.
Any questions try me at sales@timewqave.com
