There are at least two other choices for packet and a sound card under
Windows:

1. AGW packet engine at http://www.raag.org/sv2agw/

2. MixW32 for Windows at http://tav.kiev.ua/~nick/mixw/mixw.htm

MixW32 may be easiler for some to set up. It also supports NOT ONLY VHF
packet but also 300 baud HF packet, RTTY, PSK31, CW, FSK31 to name a few.

The hobby is Amateur RADIO, not "Amateur Telephone"... If Amateur RADIO had
been a priority with you, the aerials would have gone up long before your
Internet access was attended to.

Perhaps you should find a new hobby, if Amateur RADIO is so low on your
priority list.

I think you are a bit short of having a clue, "Doc"...

I help out many HAMS interested in Ham RADIO every year. On the other hand,
I don't have much patience with so-called "Hams" who think they have a
gawd-given right to do things that are detrimental to the hobby.

Don't like that, Don? Gee, you're breaking my heart.
