From: "Rob" <Pse@NoEmail.Com>
Subject: Soundcard packet

I have a Yamaha sound card. It works great.

I think AGW and MixW32 just use the sound card driver that Windows loads for
your sound card. So ANY sound card that has a windows driver should work.

It sounds like you may have a windows sound card driver problem. Or perhaps
you have not set your Mixer settings properly. Oh yes, some Yamaha sound
cards ALSO have an external VOLUME CONTROL. You MUST set the VOLUME CONTROL
above 0 or you will not hear any volume REGARDLESS of the mixer settings.

I suggest you send UT2UZ an Email regarding your problems with MixW32. He
should be able to help you.

Oh yes, why are you hooking up your mic to your sound card?? You should be
hooking up your receiver's audio output (using an audio isolation
transformer and perhaps a resistor (or POT) for any required attenuation).

73's
Rob
