You may want to try MixW32 for windows and a sound card.
MixW32 implements NOT ONLY 1200 baud packet BUT ALSO 300 baud HF packet,
RTTY, PSK31 and FSK31.
It is very easy to use and setup! You just need to install one software
program to get on packet with your sound card (unlike some competing
programs).
But MixW32 is NOT freeware. It is sharware. Try the demo software.
The web site for MixW32 is http://tav.kiev.ua/~nick/ham.html. Click on
UT2UZ software for HAM radio.

I tried this and AGW and can't get a peep out of my soundcard, although the
MixW32 looks like it's hearing noise picked up by the microphone. I've
fiddled with all the mixer settings I can find, but no luck....I have a
Yamaha sound card. Maybe it's not 100% Soundblaster compatible.
Thanks for the advice,
Rodney
