Subject: DX Cluster Software

Packet radio is slowly dying in most parts of the world. There are usually
lots of frequencies available for packet these days.

I would encourage you to set up a packet radio DX Cluster in your area.
Personally, I prefer using a Packet Radio DX Cluster over using any of the
Internet based DX Clusters. For many of us, using an Internet based DX
Cluster ties up your phone line. During long contests etc, you will likely
have some very unhappy family members.

After all, aren't we RADIO operators??

Dear fellow hams,

If you're in the market for a new QSL design, a custom logo for your club,
or an award certificate design; please drop by my website at www.n7gsu.com
and have a look.

Stock QSL designs run around $10-15 U.S., with completely custom designs
around $20-30. All are designed to be printed by you, using your computer
and color printer! Print as many or as few as you need, and have multiple
designs for mobile/portable ops or DXpedition. Thanks for taking the time
to read this post!

Subject: Quick question about BPQ..

I am using BPQ for the base of my system.
If you try to connect to a station by accident and want to cancel the
connect how do you do it without causing lots of un neccessary transmissions
??

It tries connecting, then disconnecting you are waiting a few minutes for it
to finish !!!

When using other software drivers it is possible to just hit the disconnect
button twice and it is finished.
Is there a command for BPQ to do this ???

Thanks
Robert
