Files you need to download.

PCF.LZH
SM.LZH
TFEMU.LZH
FLEX95.LZH

Unzip them. I used the LZH module for winzip. Put them all in a
directory called FLEX. That is, if you want them to match my
example.

First, if you soundcard isn't working in *DOS*. Install and test
it. Hopefully your computer has an utility disk with DOS sound
drivers and a setup and test program.

Read all the Flexnet webpages. It's not the best web site I have
ever seen. Yet, read it all twice. Remember some references are
without the soundcard in mind.

Let me know if you do APRS W98SE and with soundcard.

Ok, maybe i was a bit out of line saying that, ive just read up about AGW
and YAM and George seem s to give it a very good report, We will just have
to wait and see.
I am getting the YAM with the external power supply as advised by other YAM
users !!

On the amprnet website i think there is a link to download the YAM BPQ
drivers but the file is not there anymore ...... Matbe someone else has had
a go.... hmmm

Anyway, nice to hear that someone else has flexnet working in w98se !!!
It seems to me that flexnet works better in windows than in dos, the tx
audio seems to be much clearer when in windows even though it has dos
drivers !!!
73 to all

There is also XPWIN for Windows that supports the KANTRONICS TNC's, AEA
TNC's and HAL TNC's.

See http://www.goodnet.com/~gjohnson/xpwin.htm

In my view, the main choice these days for a KANTRONICS TNC is between
XPWIN and PacTerm '98.

Try both of them out and decide which is best you you.
