Subject: Help please with MOBILE PACKET!

Check out the TAPR FTP site.  Look for a program called HamWeb.  This
program allows a ham with packet radio to access the web and pull down the
text contents of a WebPages.  All you need is a computer connected to the
net,a TNC and a radio.

As for newsgroups,  I'd like to know myself .

BTW,  while you are at the tapr website,  listen to some of the real audio
files from their past conferences.  read some of the abstracts as well.
Talk about some net things to do with packet.

Now,  If I could only move to a high rise apt that didn't have pager
towers......

And by looking at the N1RCT web site, http://www.megalink.net/~n1rct/,
I see that there's a MAC program called Multimode that uses the MAC
audio instead of a TNC.
