Subject: PK-232 SOFTWARE HELP
I just bought a used PK-232 with a 1988 manual. This has to be OLD. I'm in
need of software for it and am wondering if
there are any shareware programs available for downloading from the web?
Thanks. Rick VE9HF.

I'm not sure of the URL's, but XPWARE for Windoze, or Winpack. Might be a
good place to start. The XPWARE is trial to 100 uses, Winpack is shareware.
Does that help?

Yep, i;m using a snd card for packet... works a treat.
go to ...
www.ac6v.com and look for packet... specifically look for AGW packet engine.
this will run your soundcard and then you can run the standard winpack to
use packet.
Usual baud rates from 1200 to 19200(!)
