If you're using Win95/8, the SV2AGW packet engine supports packet via a
sound card, and there are a good number of applications available for
it. Have a look at http://www.forthnet.gr/sv2agw/start.htm

There are also sound card drivers available for Flexnet.

Had you bothered to notice, the originator of this thread is posting from a
European country that allows digital use over CB radio frequencies. Also,
since most countries don't allow that (they're voice only), the amateur radio
digital newsgroups may be the most appropriate place to post a question.

Perhaps you should treat the question as if it involved 10m packet (which is
allowed at 1200 baud in the U.S.) since that is the nearest topic to the
original question.

No wonder many foreign countries hate Americans. Our friend here (Mr. CB, and
yes, the pun is intended) is a perfect example of the European view of
Americans. The A in America stands for A**h***. Hmmm, both have 7
letters....
There's our American goodwill for you!

Although the name of the newsgroup is "alt.HAM-radio.packet," I see no reason
for anyone to fly off the handle when a related and barely off-topic question
is asked.

I run a BBS on 145.65MHz but its located on the west side of the cities.
There is
a node on 145.65 MHz, MN3M (W0JH) that is located on the east side you
might be able to hear.

Hi!

Each time the above programme is started after a reboot it is aborted
with the following error message:

When FBB is restarted everything is OK.

Does anyone know - or can read from the error message - what could be
wrong, please?
