paKet 6.1 is een uitstekend packetprogramma dat ook met de MFJ kan werken..
Dit programma ondersteunt al je mogelijkheden van je TNC..]
Het is een TAPR programma dus geen wa8ded..
Enige nadeel zou kunnen zijn dat je geen monitorscherm meer hebt als je
eenmaal
geconnect bent..

Subject: Questions/Problems with MFJ-1278
Folks,
Having no previous experience with packet, I just acquired an old MFJ-1278
Multimode Controller (1200 baud). I spent the weekend trying to get it to
receive packets on 2M , and so far I'm still flummoxed.
Here's where I'm at:
TNC and computer seem to be talking just fine - I can issue commands and I
get appropriate responses.
I ran through calibration procedures for modulator and demodulator
TNC seems to be getting good audio from my radio (ICOM-746) - the DCD light
