Subject: Agw Packet Engine with Winpack?

I used JNOS years ago to "route" between my home LAN and the local
ampr IP network. It worked pretty well and I could use my PC software
to do all the IP functions. I've looked in to the AGW stuff a few
times, but haven't taken the time to set it up.

I'm a few days from getting a full time Internet connection at home
(cable-modem) and would like to get an internet-to-amprnet gateway
running. With your experience with AGW, do you think this it is the
way to go?

I'v never read such rubbish. I have been running Jnos ( a tcp/ip program )
for 5 years here
and it is just as good, if not better than any ax25, dos or windows based
software.
There are amprnet to internet gateways even in England, although the sending
off non amprnet
e-mail in this country is not legal. It would work fine on vhf upto speeds
of 9600baud. I have never
