Hi Peter and all,

Brazil being one of the largest sugar producers stands to reason much is
converted to ethanol fuel. That skips half the process, the first stage
being converting grain starch to sugar, the same process that fuels your
body. Shiners make some good hooch from sugar only the stars keep tabs on
large purchases. (;->) Now whatever gave you the idea you can burn raw
sugar for fuel? Not only does that leave a nasty carbon residue but
stinks pretty bad too, sweet at first then things can get nasty. Mom
didn't like my chemestry experiments, especially when I added sulfur but
it sure made a neat stink bomb the next day in school.

I wonder if they have steam engines on cane plantations burning cane,
there are plenty of narrow gage Baldwins hauling cane in Cuba and burning
it too. Why burn Diesel when you can burn what you grow right there in
the locomotive? Probably smells nasty and the boiler needs to be rodded
frequently but it works.

Maria actually wants that oil to stay in the car port? You have a leaky
engine and/or transmission if you have goo under the car but strong
detergent and plenty of hot, really hot water will get rid of it. First
I'd check for drops on the oil pan, then maybe replace the gasket and
pray the crank seals are OK.

Watch out for Tony, NEVER stand in front of his tractor or behind his
car, either he'll run over you or set you on fire. That guy is dangerous
and has a lot of tired firemen angry at him for interrupting their lunch.
Oh, watch out for jet powered wheelchairs too, Australia is a dangerous
place and it's not all snakes that bite. It makes me wonder how they
survived this long with runaway Diesels and trails of burning wheat on
the roadways with Tony right there in the thick of it.

Are you a Turtle?
