Hi Peter and all,

That one in California is a registered, street legal VW Beetle, the new
front mounted engine job. That's why it's legal, has everything it needs
plus one, the jet engine that only fires up for show. The night picture
was shot in a secluded spot out of police view with the brakes on just
for the flame effect. The blue one is also street legal regestered in the
UK I think, it's a Euro plate in any case. That confuses me, those twin
pipes betray it as an older bug with the rear mounted pancake engine but
the jet is where the pancake should be. If I remember correctly the
convertable came with factory roll bars that are seen in the photo, I
don't know about the Cali car since it's just for show but they could be
concealed in the roof and side posts.

I'll bet Tony would have a blast tearing down the road setting everything
on fire and Klaus running after him with a bucket of water. <blivit>

Now if the rest of you are wondering what we're on about just Google,
it's all there for you pictures and all. No, not Tony and Klaus but
plenty of frogs and turtles.
