I feel also the begining of another film idea. PALIOs
FIATs, and LADAs invading OZ, and pushing in front of
them "FROGS" ... HEY! this is CARS@WW and those

What you typed Warren is exactly what I hear and see in these
parts, and I am sure perhaps, but maybe reluctant to admit it
...but our silent readers will agree thinking of their own
local conditions.

Oh yeah I remember that big Russian Limo. Funny thing
Kruschev also had a FORD Lincoln, and loved fast cars...but
you know the party line at the time... so out came the ZIG.
Perhaps a Russian ham I saw on packet here, might be able
to remember Nikita's official car?

Or ... perhaps Ray will see some programming for his
community TV ...and enlist the help of Bob, doing double
duty providing music, as well acting with the frogs.
Ray could get FIAT to pay for the whole thing...well until

It would be nice ... but then they would be cast into our
group and it would be assumed they are with US when they offer

Racing engines ... reminds me of the "Offie" an engine
machined from one solid steel block. Now to make a fool of
myself...to spell the full name...mmmm.. Offenhauser?

Yes ... while not a FORD man...I was very impressed by Lee's
vision and of course the Mustang, that really helped FORD.
Funny thing...Maria and I were on the highway yesterday and
there it was .... a 60s red convertible mustang 289 v8.

Wasn't the DeLorean made some where in Eastern canada?
I seem to remember that bitter end ... finger pointing,
but plenty of them here in Ontario.

Really ! And you even got to date her ... and guess what
I can not even remember what she looked like.
I can not really remmember but a few who were really bad
worse then flakes from the CB days. Only the bottom ones
who killed a shoe shine boy in Toronto. Fuuny thing
was they were well known, and it was only a matter of time.
Police were frustrated ... Judges too, I guess, but then
they only try to do their jobs, as defined by laws we think
protect us....oh well.
Yes, quite a few friends that in high school, and CB equipped
are quiet sedated hammies compared to their days on CB. Funny
they say the same things as you do, even the older ones now
deceased remember the fun days of ham radio, as sparks flew
to the introduction of AM, and the following they enjoyed
with SWL letters. I laugh when I still remember XHC in
Toronto causing all the mirth of the airways back then
and how he caused the mailbox of a ham in Smith Falls in
Ontario to swell to "3" 45lb bags of mail requesting
the brass monkeys for the lawn ... what a logbook of memorys
and even a historic call "9RB".

Aaaah now you know the CB3A ... the rig that launched
REACT. "pepper burns" rminds me of many that so richly
deserve the "Golden Screw Driver Award". Also som free
CB advice to help the newcomer ... such as "Antenna Grease"
and one which was the best was the "radio bath" designed
to clean all the dust off the insides and clean the
contancts.... It must have worked...we never heard from
them again. Yes many memorys at the local shop hearing
the same thing...I did this and that...a shake of the
head...and after a refit and replacement of parts
even putting a "seal" on the radio and telling them
there is a "seal" now on the radio please don't break.
Makes it easy to repair...if you are not inside it.

Actually ...Maria does get on-the-air, and usually when
she is talking to someone she knows. Other then that I
allow her to have her say on packet especially in the YL@WW
theme, which is usually about recipes, and or to answer
questions. Never know ... given more time, you might
hear her on the 3755 net some morning, when I am there
with my neighbour Allyn and the gang.

Yikes Warren! You really have it in for the folks from
New York. Fireworks and shotguns on the beach?
Poor Newyorkers. If you want to make their beach life
interesting, I suggest enlisting the help of the seagulls
and after getting them there...feed'em... cheezees and
bromos .... then watch the fun.
ALERT: Maria just saw your question and has ansered it
but alast no way to send what she said...so might
