Well, the Spyder wasn't a Fiat, it was a Porche 550 and since then
everybody and his uncle took the name so I found the info in the
Wikipedia under James Dean. Firefox barfed at the "oficial" site and shut
down. Maybe it was the Little Bas***d Curse?

The Offenhauser engine, familiarly known as the "Offy", was developed by Fred Offenhauser and his employer Harry Arminius Miller, after having spent some time maintaining and repairing a 1913 Peugeot Grand Prix car of the type which had won the Indianapolis 500. Impressed by the double overhead cam, four valve per cylinder design, which was a great leap forward at the time and would not be out of place today, they designed an engine on similar principles.
I don't remember Nikita's Lincoln but Kennedy's is now a museum piece,

Lee's Mustang shure took off but in just a few years Ford came up with
the Mustang II, a real piece of crap more like a Falcon (UGH!) with a
horsie in the grille. Don't get it confused with the Aussie Falcon, THEY
know how to make cars! A friend's mother bought one thinking it was a mom
to the pop but no, she hated the thing. Thankfully Ford realized the
mistake and brought back the REAL 'Stang.
I'm not sure but you could be right about the DeLorean being made in
eastern Canada but... well... let's see what the Big G has to say if I
don't time out again. (;->)
The first prototype appeared in March 1977, and production officially began in 1981 (with the first DMC-12 rolling off the production line on January 21) at the DMC factory in Dunmurry, Northern Ireland. During its production, several aspects of the car were changed, such as the hood (bonnet) style, wheels and interior. About nine thousand DMC-12s were made before production stopped in late 1982.
Well, that leaves out Canada. The company I mentioned that makes them
today is in Texas.
Bonnie was a rather cute kid who got fat when she hooked up with Blake so
any pictures you may find on the Internet really won't do her justice.
Like I said she was a flake but what I didn't mention was that she was
TROUBLE with a capital T and found that out within minutes when we met.
Everything "they" say about that aspect is true including the "stars in
her eyes" and all the trouble she caused Jerry Lee Lewis among others.
She was asking for it from 17 and the bullet finally caught up to her. Of
course her family is in denial but I know the truth, she wasn't the sweet
little girl they said she was.
Seems the same here, I wouldn't say the hams ne CBers are sedated though.
Sedate maybe but not quite, until he went SK Jack WA2V was still the
cut-up but toned down a bit. There were others you could say were sedated
in thier CB days, one was Norman (forgot the call) who was a first
responder and very active in the public service aspect of Amateur Radio.
He was one of my elmers and quite the excellent cook on Field Day. He
even brought a commercial gas range converted to burn propane, we ate
like Henery VIII.
Speaking of my old CB-3A I found out the receive crystals were 10M cuts
so you can guess what I did one boring Saturday afternoon. Nah, I'll tell
you, Georgia USSR but after the contact it went back to where it
belonged. Oh go on guys, give the teenager a break, you were young once
too.
Well, not likely I'll hear Maria on the air any time soon without my
radio station but I'll still see her on the YL packet net. Somehow the
accent doesn't quite come across and by now she knows how to type
Schuykill. (;->)
