I remember Mazda bulbs and valves in my youth. As far as I know, they were
bought out by Mullard, also long gone.
Swan was an interesting man, he invented some bulbs containing gas at low
pressure making it unnecessary to have such a low vacuum. A forrunner of
'pearl' bulbs and some gas discharge bulbs.

As for the old 'dynamotor' it was simply an electric motor on each wheel
which could switch over by a relay system to a dynamo or generator when
speed reduced or under braking.

Funnily enough, it is still used in racing cars as the KERS system
(|Kinetic Energy Recovery System). Computer controlled but much the same
idea.

I put out a bull around 2001 after learning a little Spanish to visit
Spain. I fund out that 'Tonto' meant silly or stupid and Kemo Sabe was as
you say. Befor e thet I though it was just some kinf of injun language,
not Spanish.

The car is generally attributed to Daimler and other German inventors like
Herr Otto who invented the 4 stroke cycle, so nothing British there.

It is funny how I remember my schoolboy science:-)
