Back in the 1880s an American called Thomas Alva Edison told the world
that he had invented the electric light bulb.
This came to the attention of the British invento, Joseph Swan who had
invented a successful light bulb 30 years before and lit the house and
grounds belonging to a millionaire, even using hydro electricity generated
on the estate to power the bulbs. The millionaire had a lot of guests
including Queen Victoria who was impressed by his light bulbs and other
electrical devices.
Swan was rich enough not to need the income from his invention and also
rich enough to take Edison to courst for stealing his idea.
They came to an out of court settlement. The decided to market light bulbs
under the name Ediswan and later Ediswan Mazda then just plain mazda.
Outside America, Edisaon is remembered jokingly, as the inventor of
plagiarism. He may have invented the Phonograph, later superseded by the
gramophone but who knows.?
That's the story all from memory and books not an internet invention.
As for you waffle about the dynomotors, I find it difficult to follow so,
perhaps as Friedrich Nitetsche said. People who know what they are talking
about give simple explanations. "Those who don't give long, wordy
explanations with no real meaning."
