Hello Ian, and others , that might be following this topic, and our
exchanges. Sorry Ian, I am late with a reply, as I was doing
last minute trips before Maria flees the GWN for BRASIL and the
sun.

I agree with you on that one. I like to hit the SW bands, for all
the chatter from extreme whatever to the other end, to come up with
an opinion.

Yes, I do remember Radio Moscow, but then also Voice of America, now
all replaced by the latest ones.

> The Keiser Report, a sort of jocular money programme on RT points

Thats nothing new. This has been going on for Centurys. The European
Empires always had this in mind, and same plot followed by the British
Empire and their East India Company, that even had their own army and
navy, for protecting their money, etc. Nope nothing changed, just the
players.

The American ships and others have been there, a lot longer then that
and other places, excercising what is called; "Right of Passage".
In the past, there were deliberate crashes between warships of nations
and some interesting U-tube videos.

All the nations, you mention, do have a commercial interest there, in
these regions, so no doubt on them being there to protect the interests
of the state, and citizens and their property etc.

> So, you are right. There could be some underwater warfare in the offing.

I only mention the torpedoeing of the Oil Tankers of the west as a dire
action of these states that are under threat from these countrys. The
other problem is the Treaty that exists between IRAN and neighbours as
well RUSSIA. In the past, RUSSIA made it clear they would side with IRAN
and the treaty is there. Will they honour it? The answer is, unknown
but they have other Allies.

If ISRAEL launches an attack on the nuke plants, IRAN will go to war,
which will drag everyone in, on both sides, whether we like it or not.
They have threatened...but held back. I call it Blinking.

Of course IRAN has missles capable of hitting Israel and points west.
I am sure ISRAEL can fire back too....nuke or not. Question is, do
both really want to launch nuke missles or not? You have to be really
crazy.

There are by the sources available to us all, alternatives to Oil and Petrol
for the car or heating. Natural GAS, etc....and emerging technologies,
The Greenies like the last one ...then they can disband and start on
another whinner campaign.

> Itranian missiles are no threat to us,the French or the Americas, they

120miles away, the Arab freedom fighters or terrorists, crashed a plane
thus with all the human failsafe it isn't 100% perfect. I am saying
they would not need a missle. Lots of other ways to bring down the
civilized world, if you can call it civilized.

> The Russians could attack us but they are not going to bother,

I don't see RUSSIA as a threat at all. I see Treaty obligations.
We only need to look at how WW1 started and that didn't seem to be a go
until too late. They called it the dominoe effect. Should not have
happened ..but it did.

> On a lighter note, the Yanks have the peace loving O'bama, after all he

I remember my Republican family saying if there is a Democrat in the
"white house" they get us into wars, and a Republican will get and keep
us out. Funny I have not seen this trend. For another trend, I note
as America became a power, it is in more wars then it might want to be
but then if they have a treaty, then they must live with the provisions
of that treaty, so war is always in the minds of most.

> The Jews have Netanyahu back again, ready to attack anybody but don't

I am not fond of him either. He likes to bully other countrys, and
he better watch out who he bullies or belittles to get them on his
side...he might be alone when they need allies. BUT then the area
is of great interest to the west due to lots of religious beliefs
from there...so ????

I am getting rid of slowly my RSPs and investments to get better
returns in Brasil. My wife has stock there, and out performs me
all the time with the smaller amount she has...so we'll combine
and get better returns.

Petrol or GAS for the car was CDN$ 1.116:6/litre.

oh well see you later... 73 Pete VE3WBZ
