This is all pert of my policy of listening to other coutrie's radio and TV
stations. RT.COM is much easier than the old Radio Moscow and Kol Israel
if your TV networks don't carry it.
The Keiser Report, a sort of jocular money programme on RT points out that
it is more to do with oil and money than fighting for 'freedom' and
'democracy'.
They said that American ships were on 'excercises' in the Gulf of Hormuz
before the western news did, they also mentioned about American troops
'visiting ' Israel. In addition they mentioned that one British ship is
there, no mention of our Astute class nuclear submarines but I would bet
we have one there. The French also have an aircraft carrier on standby and
they have nuclear submarines as well.
So, you are right. There could be some underwater warfare in the offing.
I feel it is a bit sad that troops have just been withdrawn from Iraq and
look like being posted to Iran while still being active in Afghanistan.
I don't know if it was RT or the BBC which pointed out that Iran has
missiles which can get as far as Israel and Israel has had a large supply
of nuclear missiles for a very long time, just as the poor little UK has.
The only logical answer seems to me to work on substitutes for petroleum
so that we don't need to rely on the OPEC countries but that would upset
the super rich oil firms and the politicians they put in power.
Itranian missiles are no threat to us,the French or the Americas, they
can't get that far so you won't need tha 200 imp gall tank for clean water
just yet.
The Russians could attack us but they are not going to bother, they have
there own oil which they sell to Europe via the two large pipelines
supplying oil and gas to Germany and Italy and onwards. I can't foresee
them protecting Iran in any way, it's not on their interests.
On a lighter note, the Yanks have the peace loving O'bama, after all he
did get awarded a Nobel Peace prize but he could be gone by next November,
I cant see him starting a war.
The Jews have Netanyahu back again, ready to attack anybody but don't talk
about it, it has just become a crime in Israel.
Sit back and watch and invest any spare money in Gazprom, they are doing
well.
