Hi Bob and all,
Not to worry about LPG and greedy buggers, the law of supply and demand
sooner or later will catch up to them. When they find themselves sitting
on LPG with little demand for it they'll realize that profit is more in
quantity sold than price per unit. Bottom line is if you want to sell
product you have to ask a reasonable price or your business falls flat.
I expected that sooner or later bio Diesel would show up at the pumps
once companies were formed. Likely the fish and chips establishments
can't fill the demand alone but there are plenty of other sources of
light oil. That's the beauty of the Diesel engine, it'll burn just about
anything. Lucky you, with Australia's climate you don't have to worry
about seasonal adjustments to the Cetane and other additives a Diesel
requires for efficiency and performance.
Hmmm, not that long ago people right here on packet were talking about
collecting waste oil and refining it, they use it in farm tractors
primarily. I still get a chuckle remembering the one who overfilled the
oil bath air cleaner and much to his chagrin his tractor took off at top
speed across a field leaving him standing there speechless. Good thing
for him the engine quickly consumed the oil and stopped before any damage
was done. Lucky farmer, more fun than a Texas rodeo! YEEHAAAAA!!!
