Hello Bob and others ...who might be reading.,

"yes" and thats what you said....to what Bob?

"Yes" I remember you posting, as it appears below of running on air
or perhaps it was moist air, we call "steam" Bob.

If you run a steam engine, and my toy is on different from the many
larger ones, we call steam Locomotives....NO water....or too low
and there is obvious damage.

Suggest you look into TATA Technology of India, and we'll see
when this new car comes out August 2012. The engineer is a designer
of Formula One, and works for a company in Luxembourg called MDI.

The oil is vegetable oil Bob. In my answer and looking at the
picture, and other sources, the Air Car...with it's own compressor
on board loads the air fuel then pushes it thru the engine to
propel the car. Interestting. I have a Air Pig that I can
put compressed air into to use in remote areas as a high air
pressure source. I am wondering now, how many Km I would get?

Oh yes...according to you, I missed your point, like a steam engine
runninng on air...bad news to allow that condition too long.

Perhaps generating from the air fuel source is like we generate
electricity here, with water powered turbines to generate hydro.

Storing the air? I mentioned in the last reply the car has
it's own compressor on baord and is stored as all air under pressure
in a metal or perhaps lighter material.

I had the option too of the alcohol fired heater too, but used
the fuel pellets as easy and cheap to get. Other ways to power it
up too ....

A repeat of me... why? Known only to Bob....

In the reply to your saying " you have to pump air and how do you
do that? I replied citing the info that the Air Car has an onboard
compressor and obviously a storage system , as it takes minutes to fill
and last for 300km.

The other part was somewhere along the line there has to be more then
air. As in any auto engine there is always more then the source of
power. Lubrication by a 1 litre of vegetable oil that must be
replaced at 50,000miles.

Anyhow, the TATA Technology is the one to ask Bob. Don't pick on
the messenger, with these I said this and misunderstood and back and
forth ... Not into that stuff... YOU look it up...ASK them!

I am interested in it from a marine aspect. My Big Pig which looks
like a 30lb propane cylinder last me in remote areas, as my source
of air for things I am doing. SO I can appreciate it.

PS: Being on the Internet this morning looking at News and Utube
MDI prototype air cars. They also have a futuristic target
past getting this Air CAR to market.
