Hi Ian and all,
Seems the 6' 2" teenager has grown sideways and today would probably end
up on the floor of that Yankee Ford, don't mind the hump. (;->) Oh we had
seats similar to the Rolls, there was this fold down arm rest in the
middle of a contoured bench seat, not quite buckets but the only one that
had them as I remember was the Corvette.
Yup, once upon a time when "gas" was cheap we drove land cruisers and
fast sports cars, Harley-Davidson was THE motorcycle until a few Euro
crotch rockets showed up, then everything changed. Evolution took its
course and now it's reliability and economy but we still have a long way
to go. Now if I could only figure out what makes George Jetson's car go I
just might have something there.
See me on the flip side? What do you think I am, a record? Yeah, keep the
shiny side down and the greasy side up, all I need now is a Limey with a
fake Texas accent! (;->)
