Hi Paul and all,

Driving around in second gear and spending a couple hundred quid to get
suspension bushings replaced sucks raw eggs, time to move out of
Nottingham! Something tells me you'd be better off with Robin Hood and
the evil Sheriff than that council and their speed bumps that would tear
the guts out of the queen's Brougham and probably get them all beheaded.

Well don't feel TOO bad, I used to drive a 4 speed Toyota and never made
it to 4th around town. Then on the side streets with a stop at every
corner I never got past second but that's because I drove conservatively
saving petrol, brake pads and clutch discs. Can't say how it would manage
to hold together in Nottinham though, have you given any thought to the
nearby hamlet of Scarrington? Oh and if you see a ghostly Norman knight
carrying an ocelot say hello, he's my cousin. (;->)
