Hi Barry and all,
THAT got their attention! (;->) Alright, lets get the bombes out of the
way first since they belong in the thread about WW2 codes and cyphers.
NOW I get it, you're referring to machines that ticked with a French
accent (doh) rather than people. Oh boy, I thought >I< was confusing!
So why don't we just sum it all up with one simple "hydrogen fails"
statement and be done with it? I don't see any greenies around here so no
reason to tippytoe around the truth when it's expedient to get straight
to the heart of the matter. (;->)
Oh I don't doubt Bob for a minute when he happens to agree with my well
placed spies all saying the same thing. I wouldn't say desalinization is
cheaper than moving Sydney when energy costs don't compare with the price
paid when you have runaway immigration. Did I strike a nerve there? hOPE
SO, the US has the same problem only it shows itself a little
differently, water isn't the resource in question here.
Right, there's always an alternative but unfortunately the goal becomes
unaceptable to those unwilling to sacrifice in getting there. The Western
and now the Eastern civilized world has become so accustomed to a
constant upward trend they're unwilling to accept the past and what the
uncivilized world still copes with, there is alway a down side. Oh now
don't get your nose all out of joint, "civilized" only refers to those
living in cities and not social status.
I leave you with this to ponder, what makes you think we won't have it as
good or better than we have now? Think about this for a realistic
thought, with fewer fingers in the pie there is more pie for each finger.
