Maybe I am being naive but it seems to me there is limitless fuel
out there, it is called WATER!

Consider for a moment the places in the world that have surplus
energy. Places with regular high winds, stormy seas, hot deserts
and water power from torrential rivers. These could become the
engery fields of tomorrow, converting local energy into electricity
using fairly low tech equipment.

The trick then is to turn the electricity into a form of energy
that can be stored, transported and used as required, and for
that we could use water broken down into hydrogen and oxygen.
Used in power stations hydrogen and oxygen would be a clean
fuel.

Portable power, so convenient with petrol, for tools and transport
will have to be addressed, so there are still lots of challenges!
