Yes Ray, and I remember the two stroke diesel buses from quite a few years
back. The four stroke sent out just as much smoke. My motor scooter makes
no visible smoke at all and less smell than the car I drive.

> GM produced some really large 2 stroke diesel locomotives in the 1960's
(the 42 and 421 classes in NSW come to mind) but they produced no more
smoke than their 4 stroke counterparts. Their distinctive sound was
something else.
