Hello,
       The following link is a suggested speach for the next US president.
It is what some people believe should be said and promoted.

I think it makes the assumption that business as usual but with electric cars
will be possible.  There have been  tests with systems  where an electric car
when in the garage and plugged  in for charging couls back up the electricity
grid at times  of peak demand  on the grid.  What is suggested  here is quite
practical and  has been  trialed. What  is not  practical is  that the  whole
present car fleet will be replaced even over a 15 year period.

The only real long term future is for more emphasis on public transport.
Anyway it is an interesting thought and well worth a read even if they do get
carried away with  themselves, just as  you no doubt  have seen ad nauseum on
your TV of late.
