Hello Barry VK2AAB .... and all,
With Barry's advice to the future US President, it sort of
reminded me of the survey here in canada, covering the vehicle
classes and which one is the best, and is going to save you
some ca$h at the pump$ ...
Honda ...... Civic
Honda .......Accord
Toyota.......Prius
Ford.........Escape
MAZA.........Model 5 Mini-van
Please note, that this surve was taken off the TV, and is
as accurate as I could take notes. Since I am looking to
reduce to one vehicle, this chart is going to play a part
along with what I can manage at the time.
Barry ... I like your idea of buses, and it is always a topic
up here, with seniors who can not drive any longer. Just not
in the budget at $ 16.00 roundtrip .... not too many buses
here and worse other places in our town...as well no service
when there should be in our town ...of course no use complaining.
In other places I go, I see great bus systems, and I agree
with you, but well obviously you have rode similar ones to
the bus systems I have rode. What attracts the percentages
to these bus systems is the fare that is so low it is too
attractive to not pass up. Cars are parked and lots of
people take the bus, and connect to in big cities an
effective subway system.
November is approaching, so perhaps someone might find
your comments and forward them to the "PREZ" ...take care!
