They all seem to believe their gas has some special properties.

That is the only way it can work, if indeed it does work at all.

I have never seen any scientific, documented tests, nor the results of such.
All I have seen is unscientific testimony that their vehicle is doing ??? mpg
better than it did before.

I recently managed similar improvements, up from 20-22 to 25-28 mpg simply by
the use of some injector cleaner in the tank.
