Hello Shirl,

I'm glad that somebody found my reporting of the rowing the atlantic race
interesting.

Yes, I saw footage of a rescue of the crew from one of the boats in that
race where the weather changed suddenly, unpredictably and chaos reigned
with, as you say, several yachts sinking and several crews perishing.

The reactment of the rescue I watched was of a Father and Son but I seem
to recall that though the son survived, it was too late for his Dad.

Shirl, please report on this years race as I, for one, would be interested
in the progress and wish the crews participating "Bon Voyage".

Thank You for your response and I wish you and yours a very Peaceful time
over Christmas and All the Best for the New Year in 2006.
